NOMENCLATURE PROPOSALS APPROVED IN JANUARY 2016

IMA 15-H: Diomignite (discredited)
Proposal 15-H is accepted, and diomignite is
officially discredited. The original crystals in
fluid inclusions were misidentified zabuyelite.

IMA 15-L: Claringbullite (redefined) and
Fejerite (discredited)
Proposal 15-L is accepted, and claringbullite is
redefined as Cu4FCl(OH)6. Fejerite, recently
approved with IMA number 2012–014, is
consequently discredited.
