NOMENCLATURE PROPOSALS APPROVED IN JANUARY 2019

IMA 18-J: Redefinition of samarskite (Y)
The proposal 18-J is accepted. According to new structural data, samarskite-(Y) shows a cation
ordering, leading to the end-member formula YFe3+Nb2O8.
